WHAT
IS STANDING?
stand'ing. v. 1. the act of getting
off your "but"
and supporting yourself in a position
of strength: ie. standing up for yourself,
standing tall, standing out, standing
for something, taking a stand.
Imagine for a moment if Martin Luther
King had said, "I have a dream, 'BUT'
society won't care." Where would we be?
Instead, he empowered millions of people
to STAND for racial equality. In order
to STAND, one must shift from a
position of blame to responsibility.
STANDING can elicit peace between
nations just as it can elicit peace
within an individual.
Can the act of STANDING really end
violence, eating disorders, stress,
drug/alcohol abuse, and depression in
our schools and businesses?
YES!
Sean Stephenson's
revolutionary programs,
"Time to Stand!" and
"Raise Your STANDards Now!" confronts
these societal challenges with real life
solutions. The word is spreading.
Soon people will be STANDING in schools,
companies, churches, and government
institutions around the world.
